Prep Your Skin

  • Start by exfoliating your skin to create a smooth canvas for our infamous Watermelon scented tanning formula. Pay extra attention to rough areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. The best way to do that is with our silk exfoliating glove.
  • Make sure to shave or wax at least 24 hours before applying Only Tans fake tan to achieve the best, irritation-free results.

Use a Tanning Mitt:

  • Apply your Only Tans self-tanner with a tanning mitt to ensure even and streak-free application. The mitrt will also protect your hands from staining.

Start from the Bottom:

  • Begin applying your Only Tans fake tan from your feet and work your way up to avoid smudging or creasing.

Blend and Feather:

  • Apply your Only Tans watermelon tan in small, circular motions to achieve an even tan. Feather the self tanner on areas like hands, feet, and wrists to create a natural transition.

Be Mindful of Joints:

  • Use sparing amounts of Only Tans fake tan on joints (knees, elbows, ankles) to prevent them from becoming too dark or streaky.

Powder for the Perfect Set:

  • After applying Only Tans and allowing it to dry for a few minutes, lightly dust our fake tan setting powder over your skin. This will not only help set your tan but also minimizes any stickiness, allowing you to get dressed without worry, quickly.

Avoid Water and Sweating:

  • Refrain from activities that cause sweating or water exposure until your Only Tans mousse tan has fully developed (usually within 2-6 hours).

Nourish Your Glow:

  • Keep your skin hydrated and your tan glowing by using our moisturizers daily. It'll help prolong the life of your Only Tans tan and keep your skin looking its best.
